FairwayAuthority is an independent golf publication. Our editorial standards exist to ensure that every article we publish is accurate, useful and free of undue influence.

Editorial independence

No advertiser, affiliate partner, equipment brand or sponsor has the ability to review, edit or veto editorial content before publication. Our reviews and recommendations are made solely by our editorial team.

Expert review

Every instructional article is written or reviewed by a credentialed instructor (PGA, LPGA, PGA of America or equivalent). Equipment reviews are based on hands-on testing using calibrated launch monitors.

Sourcing

Where we cite statistics, research or third-party data, we link to the original source. We do not link-launder claims from other content sites.

Corrections

If we make a factual error we correct it promptly, note the correction at the bottom of the article and update the "Last updated" date. To report an error, use our contact form.

AI use

We may use AI tools for research assistance, outline generation and copy editing. Every published article is reviewed and signed off by a human editor. We do not publish AI-generated articles without human editorial work.
