About FairwayAuthority

FairwayAuthority is an independent golf publication founded in 2021 by a small team of certified instructors, club fitters and former competitive amateurs. We exist for one reason: to give recreational golfers the same quality of information that tour players get.

Our mission

To publish the most useful, technically accurate and honestly-reported golf content on the internet — and to never let a sponsor, brand relationship or affiliate partner influence an editorial verdict.

Editorial team

Our content is led by Sophia Ellery, a PGA of America Class A Professional. Every article published on FairwayAuthority is either written or technically reviewed by a credentialed instructor before publication.
